The 7th Conference of the International Society for Child Indicators will be held on 27-29 August 2019 in the Dorpat Convention Centre in Tartu, Estonia. The conference will be hosted by the University of Tartu.
Child indicators research has made long steps since the International Society for Child Indicators was launched in Oslo in 2005. Since then six ISCI international conferences have been held in different parts of the world.
The 7th ISCI conference will be an opportunity to look back and forth and discuss the touch of change in research, policy implications and program initiatives – the use of child indicators research – in the context of increasing complexity of the world.
We invite researchers, practitioners, policy makers and child advocates from across the world to share and discuss original research on child indicators and their implications for policy and interventions. Presentations will encompass broad range of topics related to child indicators research that bridges research, policy and practice in time and space. New approaches in understanding children’s wellbeing and a future look to interactions between theory, policy and practice will be very welcomed.
